Get started
From a key to your first track in a few minutes.
1. Create a key
Sign in at ainsof.io/account/api-keys and choose Create new key. The key starts with ain_ and is shown once, so copy it somewhere safe. Keep it in an environment variable on your server:
export AINSOF_API_KEY="ain_..."2. Search
Describe the music the way you would brief a music supervisor:
curl https://mcp.ainsof.io/ \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $AINSOF_API_KEY" \
-d '{"action": "search", "brief": "warm acoustic guitar, hopeful, no vocals", "top_k": 3}'Every result is a cue: its title, album, composers with their IPI, bpm, length, a description, and two links. listen_url opens the AINSOF player; audio_url is the preview MP3 itself.
3. Open a track
Take a track_id from the results and ask for everything about it: every version (15, 30 and 60 second cuts, underscore mixes) and every stem, each with its own preview link.
curl https://mcp.ainsof.io/ \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $AINSOF_API_KEY" \
-d '{"action": "track", "track_id": "AIN-CAT 030_001"}'4. Next steps
