Music & Downloads

Question 1

Who makes the music?

Accepted Answer

Every track in the AINSOF catalog is written, performed and produced by human composers, musicians and creators. Nothing in the catalog is AI-generated.

Question 2

How often is new music added?

Accepted Answer

New music is added every week.

Question 3

What is in the catalog?

Accepted Answer

Four libraries, all of them ours and all cleared the same way: AINSOF Collection: the main body of work, scored tracks across genres. AINSOF Artist: artist-led songs and vocal records. Editor Tools & FX: risers, impacts, transitions, drones, whooshes and the sound design an edit needs between the music. Israeli Voices: music rooted in the local scene, recorded with the players who play it. All of it is searchable the same way: by feeling, by reference or by brief.

Question 4

What sound effects do you have?

Accepted Answer

Risers, hits, impacts, downlifters, transitions, whooshes, signals, reverse FX and percussion, made by the composers who write the music and cut to sit on a timeline. Browse them in sound effects . Every plan includes every sound effect. Without a plan, see How do sound-effect licenses work?

Question 5

Is the music suitable for all audiences?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Nothing in the catalog is unsuitable for a general audience.

Question 6

What do I get when I download a track?

Accepted Answer

With a plan you can download every track with all its available versions and stems, and every sound effect. The files are clean, with no watermarks. Files come as MP3, and as WAV where it is available. A single-track license opens every available version and stem of the track you bought.

Question 7

What does unlimited downloads mean?

Accepted Answer

While your plan is active you can download as many tracks and sound effects as you need, with all available versions and stems. Scraping or bulk-copying the catalog is not allowed.

Question 8

Which versions come with a track?

Accepted Answer

Most tracks carry 15, 30, 40 and 60-second cuts, edited to land on the music rather than faded out. There are also alternates built for cutting to picture: underscore and music bed for dialogue and voiceover, and mixes with one element taken out, such as no drums, no percussion, no melody, no vocals, no guitars, no choir, no brass, no bass, no piano, no strings or no orchestra. Some tracks also come as isolated groups, such as vocals, drums and percussion, or drones and atmospheres. Which versions a track has depends on how it was arranged; a piece with no choir has no no-choir mix. Ask the agent for a track and it lists exactly what that track carries, each with its own listen link.

Question 9

Can I get the stems?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for most of the catalog. Where a track has stems you get all of them, typically five or six layers and up to sixteen: drums, percussion, bass, strings, brass, woodwinds, guitars, piano, keys, synths, choir, vocals, melody, atmospheres and sound design. Stems are included with a plan or a single-track license, not sold separately. To see only tracks with stems, use the With stems filter in the music .

Question 10

Which file formats can I download?

Accepted Answer

With a plan you can download every track, with all its versions and stems, in WAV or MP3. Some versions are available only as MP3; the download shows when WAV is not available. Files are clean, with no watermarks. With a plan, which includes every sound effect, you can also download a whole sound-effect category in one ZIP with Download all , in WAV or MP3.

Question 11

Can I listen before I pay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Listening is free, without a plan. Previews are complete and clean, in MP3 192k, and every available version and stem can be auditioned, so you can lay them against picture and find the one that fits before you pay. Auditioning is not a license. Publishing needs a plan or a single-track license.

Question 12

How do I find the right music?

Accepted Answer

In the music you can search by words, or paste a YouTube or Spotify link and find music that sounds like it. You can also find tracks similar to one you like, preview music synced to your video, and preview any track fit to any length. All of this is free with an account.
