Claims on YouTube

On YouTube, a claim on music is usually a Content ID claim. YouTube says a Content ID claim is not a copyright strike. Depending on the claimant's settings, a claimed video may show ads with the revenue going to the claimant, or it may be tracked or restricted.

You can see who filed the claim in YouTube Studio: open the video, then the copyright details under its restrictions.
